Working Equitation Clinics are conducted at Kangadoo, Murrumbateman and Canberra.
Clinics at Kangadoo:
2 hour clinic, see clinics for details.
The clinics involve getting to know the obstacles and their associated patterns and working on collection and lateral movements - the basis of the discipline.
Arrive at 9am for a 9:30 start and bring some lunch along with you. Everyone is welcome, even those newly started horses that are not yet comfortable in large open spaces. The clinics are tailored to meet the needs of each particular individual in the group.
Spaces are limited so please contact Kate if you would like to come to a clinic or organise one for a group or Adult Riding Club of your own.
Kate is a qualified instructor and judge in Working Equitation and Kandoo Equine will be taking a team to the competition at SIEC in October (part of the AHAA Championships) - come and join us!
"Fantastically innovative training methods, I felt like I really established a connection with my horse on the ground so that meant we were talking the same language when we moved to ridden exercises. My horse felt genuinely happy and comfortable it was like he said..."oh, is THAT what you want me to do, easy!" In comparison to traditional dressage training that always felt so difficult and forced, this method feels like you're learning to communicate with one another. It was such a relief and effortless in comparison. Loved it!" SK
