Round Pen 101 DVD
When used correctly, the round pen is a wonderful training tool. This DVD introduces you to the basics - keeping you and your horse safe while teaching your horse 'how to learn'.
You will see 5 different horses learning how to do 1)outside turns, 2)inside turns and 3) come to me.
You will learn a lot about your horse's personality in this lesson and you will also learn how slight changes in your body language can be read by the horse. Slow motion is used at times to make it easier for you to get the body language correct for the different turns.
The round pen is about 'teaching your horse how to learn/think' and not about tiring the horse out. One of the most important things you will learn in this lesson is how to conserve your horse's energy - a tired horse is not learning anything.
