Getting Behind TJ

Kate Fenner - Monday, February 24, 2014

Click on the photo to watch the video about walking behind TJ.
This has been a very difficult lesson for TJ as it leaves me outside his field of vision. This is a very dangerous thing to do for a wild horse, especially one that has spent 7-8 years as a stallion and quite possibly been chased by people.
We still have a way to go, which his snorting will attest to, but we are on the way and making steady progress. It is, of course, vitally important that I can be out of his sight because he will lose me as soon as I mount!
