Kandoo-Kansay

Rain!

Kate Fenner - Friday, September 28, 2012

Due to the heavy rain, I'm afraid that the Working Equitation Clinic for 29th of September has had to be cancelled. I am sorry for those of you that were booked in to attend (and the obstacle course is looking great) and will let you know as soon as the next one is in the diary.

For those of you that were planning to attend the competition on Saturday 6th October at SIEC and have any questions regarding the rules or obstacles, simply call Kate (0458298338).

The Kandoo Working Equitation Club is attending the competition as a group.

Kandoo Equine is also proudly sponsoring the event.

Kate is hoping to purchase an ex-race horse at the Sydney Thoroughbred Sales at the end of this month  (28th September) and will bring the horse to demonstrate "Re-starting the Ex-racehorse" during the course of the weekend. Harry (Kandoo Blue Toodooloo) and Bear (Ima Little Rustler) will also be there to demonstrate.

Two trailer loading demonstration horses will be needed for the sessions on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. If you have a horse that is difficult to load (or just downright impossible - even better) and live locally, please let me know.

Two places remain on a three day riding and WEQ clinic, 25 - 27th September. Contact Kate if you would like to join that group.

For those of you that have not yet joined, the Kandoo Online Video Training Club is a great resource for training your horse at home. You can join for a month for less than the price of Horse Deals and a cup of coffee!

Harry is standing at stud this year. Click here for details.

Don't forget to check out the horses and tack for sale page on the website! Just contact Kate is you would like to advertise here.

Happy riding.....

Survey

Kate Fenner - Tuesday, September 11, 2012

This survey is designed to help us learn more about the views we have about mares, geldings and stallions and what we’d choose when considering horses for various disciplines.  Furthermore, we are also seeking data on what we look for when choosing an ideal horse.  We have had a great response (>500 responses) but would love to hear from as many horse riders and owners as we possibly can.  Feel free to pass it on to friends or family, everyone’s opinion helps it doesn't matter if you have never ridden a horse in your life - we would still love you to complete a survey! Some of the questions may seem overly simplistic if you’ve been around horses for a while, but there are opportunities to explain your views.

It’s a short survey with simple, easy to answer questions.  Responses are completely anonymous.
